Yes, well indeed I dare.
I haven't done any art or fanfics or whatever in so long. What I have been doing is writing a novel for my new original book series, "Hafu Sans Halo", slated to be out for the world to see in January.
So there's actually a really interesting story behind this. Back in the early 2000s I came with this crazy idea that I would be a manga-ka. So I brainstormed the story, complete with character sketches blah blah...

So there's actually a really interesting story behind this. Back in the early 2000s I came with this crazy idea that I would be a manga-ka. So I brainstormed the story, complete with character sketches blah blah...
It was supposed to be a cool hybrid of shonen and shoujo styles. Turns out though, drawing is freaking hard so I pretty much forgot about it for like, 10+ years.
I decided sometime last fall that I still liked the story enough, so I turned it into a novel. I've wanted to write and publish a book for a long time so I'm still a bit amazed (and terrified, let's be honest) that it's happened. But a manga version might be something I attempt in the future as I (hopefully) get better at art in general.
I think I will likely update Z-Homies in the near future, once I get my act together (keyword: time management skills, a work in progress). I still love doing fanart. If I feel up to it, I will draw more of it. But I hope to post OCs from my book, with the hopes of improving for future-manga-goals. It's a journey I hope others will take with me.

Trunks from Dragon Ball Z (in all forms) has always been one of my favourite anime characters. Just cause he's so cool. Really. He is.
Oh and both videos are now officially "karaoked".
Trunks Gonna Give it To Ya was my absolute first AMV that I did around the time I "discovered" rap....discovered Dragon Ball too (over 10 years ago). I had alot of fun making it, and partially remaking it (since the clips began looking like crap from all the reformatting over the years). I still love it.
Because it just makes him look so badass, emo and sassy, DMX style. Even when he fails, he's still really-ridiculously-good-looking

New & improved lip-syncing, the scenes correspond with the lyrics, oh and lyrics etc.
I Won't Be Ignored is a Trunks+Vegeta tribute I did afterwards because let's face it, their horrible-turned-good (ish) relationship is beautiful and I appreciate their character growth/relationship in Dragon Ball Z, probably the most powerful and well-developed in the series.
This was around the time I think everyone discovered DBZ goes with Linkin Park, like they were made for each other? At least this song (Faint) is so perfect for these two, like it was written for them.
This video brings on the feels for me every...single...time.
About the art: My fave thing about this one is the mix of still clips with moving ones. I think it makes for a pretty unique effect.
